Help with Satellite Receiver???

I bought a satellite receiver so that I could use my satellite radio at work as well as in my car. I cannot locate a signal in my building though. Aren't these satellite signals stronger than regular radio signals? Is there any way to locate one? My office has no windows & the building is basically made of steel. Any suggestions?!

The antenna must be outside of the building. Sometimes you can place it next to a window (which you don't have). The antenna on your car is outside the vehicle and it won't work inside a garage or going thru a long tunnel. Anything in front of the antenna will block the signal. Kinda like Directv. If you block the front of the dish, you will lose the signal.
