The dozy garage I took my c5 to last year snapped the retaining spring on the headlights.?

Anyone got an Idea what to do as you cant get the spring without buying the whole headlight. I dont fancy paying £123.99 for a poxy little spring!!!
Ive tried the scrap yard but theres none of the old style ones up here and I'm sick of being told my cars too modern and "we dont get many of those here mate"

Go to a High Street motorists discount store and order one.
I needed a new one for my Peugeot 205 to pass it's MOT this year. Peugeot main dealer quoted £137 plus fitting. I went to a motorists shop and then got me a 'pattern' one (new but made by someone else) for £27.50 inc VAT. I fitted it myself and it was so easy.
