Motorized trailers

These are divided into three categories:

Class A motor homes- these are the best trailers in the RV world. They weigh up to 30, 000 pounds and stretch up to 40 feet. They are very comfortable and give a homely feeling. Class C motor home- they are also known as mini-motor homes. They weigh a maximum weight of 12,000 pounds and stretch to 31 feet. They normally come up with sleeping bunks that are found on the cab. Most have bedrooms in the rear. These can accommodate up to ten people depending on the model. Some of the features in it include cooking and bathroom facilities, water tanks, gas supply, sinks, electrical appliances, faucets and entertainment units.

Towable RV trailers

These are divided into four categories.

Travel trailer- these come in different sizes. You can find one that is 10 feet long or one that is 35 feet long. They have to be pulled by another vehicle that has special devices that are used to control trailer. However, lighter models are being manufactured so that any car can be used as a tow car.

Folding camping trailers- these are also referred to as pop up or tent trailers. They are small and can be pulled by any automobile. They usually take up less space and are the inexpensive option.

Fifth wheel trailers- they are made like the travel trailers but have an extension that towers over the tow vehicle. They have a horizontal plate that looks like a fifth wheel. They need special vehicles like pickups trucks for easier transportation.

Truck campers- these come with a camper body that is loaded on a bed of a pickup truck. The camper is placed on the back of the truck. You can use the pickup truck for other purposes, as the camper can be loaded and unloaded with ease. You can get one that accommodates up to six people depending on the type.
