I have a framed Andrew Wyeth print - "Northern Point". Its a Registry Edition master print. Whats that mean?

I fount this piece at a thrift store for 10 dollars. The name of the piece is "Northern Point" Its framed and has an A.W. stamped into the mat. It's not hand signed or numbered but it has a certificate of authenticity from the New York Graphic Society L.T.D. state that it is an authorized Registry Edition master print. I was just curious what the heck "Registry Edition master print" means? Is it rare?

I found a framed print at the Goodwill store in Denver for $1.99. It was framed in the 1970's by Turner Wall Accessory. I took some pictures of it and sent them to the Andrew Wyeth gallery and asked a approx. value for the unsigned dry mounted print and was told it could be worth around $900. Hang on to this and not be greedy. It will be worth a lot more in a short amount of time.
