stocking a 55 gallon fish tank with a few angel fish ?

any idea's?? having the angel fish as the center peice of course. also may be in the wrong place but should i sell my wii to get a dsi?

Buy a nice group of six angelfish, if you intend on breeding them. A group of six is bound to end up with a pair, or even two, when the fish mature. But if you don't, like me, I keep only around three. Mine are not the centerpiece though, because there live some other much bigger fish, particularly my silver dollars. In order to make them the centerpiece, the companion fish must be small schooling fish. Try neon tetras. Many suggest not keeping them, but I think if the angelfish grow up with them, they are not likely to be eaten. If you want larger schooling fish, the harlequin rasbora is always a peaceful candidate. A rule for schooling fish is to have as many as possible, preferably 8-10 for your 55 gallon tank. You'll also need some fish to liven up the substrate, some corydoras catfish maybe, again, a schooling fish, should be in groups of 6. Those are the best ideas for a peaceful angelfish community tank. Good luck!
