I have a friend from ghana that came over on a visitor's visa.He would like to extend his stay, how can he?

He can over in December and now has a DL and a job, he was wondering if there was any way he could stay over here longer. I was not sure if he could or not.

He cannot extend his visa as he is now in the US illegally. If he wants to stay or have a job, he needs to return to his country and have his employer apply to sponsor him for a work visa. He cannot work while he is in the US. If he is caught working and deported, he will be banned from reentering the US
