Loud noised from the Equalizer sway control hitch system when I go around turns. Normal????

I've installed the Equalizer as per the instructions, but when I go around turns the binding from the sway bars makes loud noises. Is this normal? This is at slow speeds and just when I turn. I never got over 10 mph as I was afraid of done something wrong. I set my L brackets up at the 5th hole from the top at first as recommended, but couldn't get the sway bars up over the L bracket without using a floor jack. So, I dropped to the 4th hole, and even tried the 3rd hole from the top. Yes, I raised the trailer with the jack to raise the sway bars. Any suggestions?

my equalizer makes noise on turns also, i dont pull a 5th wheel but i pull a 26 foot camper , thats alot of wieght where the hitch hooks up , so it will make noise , best way to see if its riding right is to adjust it so your trailer and truck are both level
