There was a double xp week for those who had the collector's edition. It was from december 5th to 12th. There may be more double xp weeks, but it will probably be for those who have the collector's edition (which costs more).

EDIT: Because there is no collector's edition for PS3 so i doubt there will ever be a double xp weekweekend
