My ipod nano 3rd gen will not stop syncing when i plug it in. What should i do?

When i plug my ipod in, my ipod starts to sync. Then, when the computer says that ipod syncing is complete, it still says synchronising on the ipod screen. Then, when i eject it, it says okay to disconnect on the ipod, but the songs are not fully synced onto the ipod. What should I do?

Do you have the latest version of iTunes? I was having bugs with my iPod and iTunes until I downloaded the latest version. My iTunes kept doing things like not recognizing my iPod when I plugged it in, but the download fixed it.
If you do have the latest version, just try waiting a little longer for the iPod to sync before unplugging it. Sometimes it will say that it's fully synced on the computer screen, but it may not be.
