Removing Chrome Plating Using An Ultrasonic Cleaner

Ultrasonic stripping chrome plating is a process requiring the dissolving of at least part of the chrome in a solution that is quite corrosive. Make sure to choose a unit that has sufficient size to fit your biggest model part and that is deep enough to allow complete submersion of the parts.

Where can I purchase chrome plated brass tubing? I find a lot of places that sell brass tubing but none that is chrome plated. Sizes are 1/16 thru 5/16. Thanks Ron

I worked in a Big hardware store for 9 years and the smallest plated tubing I encountered was 1/2" in lamp parts and some plumbing stuff.
