Camper Trailer Mattress & The Selection Process
A camper trailer mattress is a great way to add comfort to your next camping trip. But as you probably already know, the decision can be quite a confusing one. With a plethora of different styles, a range of different brands and then a choice in sizes to make things even more complex - how do you know which mattress is right for you?
Let's have a look at a few of these factors and see if we can narrow your search down so that you can buy one for yourself.
1. Different Camper Trailer Mattress Styles
Have you seen the new air mattresses that have a metal fold-out base? It is options like this, and the new ones that have built in air pillows that make our decisions tough. Do we want a mattress with all the bells and wistles, or are we looking to rough it with the basic foam option?
Where are you go? What are your plans? How much room do you have in your car to fit objects? These are all questions that will help you make a decision.
2. Different Trailer Mattress Sizes
The normal camper trailer comes with a space for a double or queen size mattress - so these would be the obvious choice. However, you could also fit one or two single mattresses in the same space, so it all comes down to what you personally want.
Mattress thickness is something else that you will want to consider.
3. Mattress Brands
The final option you need to look at is the brand of of your camper trailer mattress. Just with the diversity in styles there is just as much difference in brands. Is it important to go with a known brandname or is cheaper the better option?
Well good quality is normally associated with the known brand names, so if you are going to be sleeping on the mattress on a regular basis then I would invest the money into a quality camper mattress. However, if you are only camping on the odd weekend each year - then a cheaper air mattress might be a wiser decision.
Have a look at them, use your judgement and consider calling on the expertise of store workers because the experience that they have is sure to help make an informed decision.
