when you hit the ball with the frame and then the racket's net after that, is that a double hit?

there is this kid from the other school; he hit the ball twice (with the frame & the racket's net), i called it for a double hits and he said it was legal. I'm just wondering if it's legal and what is it called?

it's not legal, it's a double hit ... but in casual non professional games it's called a "push" (where the ball hits the throat or head then rebounds off the strings) and most opponents allow them.
