Aluminum Gate Options

An aluminum fence is a great way to secure your property. It is maintenance free and has a lifetime warranty. There are many different options and we'll describe some of them here.

The most common type of aluminum gate would be a pedestrian gate. It can also be referred to as a "walk" gate or a "man" gate. These are generally available in widths ranging from three to six feet. A standard aluminum walk gate would usually match the aluminum fence style you have chosen for your yard. Many customers choose to upgrade their aluminum walk gates to an arched design. The arched walk gate still holds the same design as the fence style but the top horizontal rail(s) have a slight curve (usually about 6 inches higher at the highest point). The arched gate really accents your fence line for an outstanding appearance.

Another aluminum gate option would be access gates. Access gates are usually larger to provide access for vehicles, mowers, etc. They could be as narrow as six feet or as wide as thirty feet. It could be a single gate that swings in only one direction or a double gate that swings in opposite directions. This type of gate is often used to allow passage of a large tractor, truck or boat. Estate gates also fall into this category of aluminum gates. Aluminum estate gates are almost always arched and are available in many styles, heights, widths and colors. An estate gate provides security and beauty to your property. It's not uncommon for an estate gate to have added adornments such as scrolls, rings or finials.

One more type of aluminum gate is a sliding cantilever gate. A cantilever gate does not roll on a track that is installed on the ground. This type of gate is suspended between rollers at the top and bottom of the gate. This is especially advantageous in climates that receive snow since there is no track on the ground that could be obstructed. Cantilever gates can be as small as six feet wide all the way up to forty feet wide. The most applications for this type of gate are entrances to storage facilities or other commercial locations.

There's no bass coming out of my surround sound?

I'm throwing a party on Friday and I'm trying to play music through the surround sound but the bass won't work. My computer is a MacBook Pro (the new aluminum one) and the surround sound is a Yamaha Natural Sound AV Receiver RX-V465. I've also tried with my second-generation iPod Touch and it's just not happening. According to the woofer the subwoofer is active, there's just no sound coming out of it. The woofer works, that's no question. I'm playing out of iTunes 4.0. Can anybody tell me how to fix this and make the bass work?
I have tried converting songs to AAC with the iTunes thing, but it made no difference.
