Then unscrew and remove the cover from the replacement plug. Pull the cable through the cover of the replacement plug. Remove a half-inch piece of the plastic jacket from the end of each of the three wires at the end of the AC power cord, and then twist the end of each to keep the copper strands together.

Be carefully loosen the screws located on the terminals of the replacement plug. Position the white wire that extends from the AC cable onto the silver terminal of the replacement plug between the terminal and the screw. Turn the screw while pressing the copper wire on the terminal until the wire is secured.

Position the black wire that extends from the AC cable onto the gold or brass terminal of the replacement plug between the terminal and the screw. Tighten the screw while confirming that the copper wire is in contact with the terminal until the wire is secured.

Place the green wire that extends from the AC cable onto the green terminal of the replacement plug between the screw and the terminal. Tighten the screw until the wire is fastened securely and confirm that the wire is in solid contact with the terminal.

Attach the plug cover and align the screw holes and then tighten the screws onto the housing to secure the plug in place.

I know that it will work as a wireless range extender as that is clearly what it is meant to do.

But will it work as a wireless ethernet bridge for my Xbox 360 until I get my official wireless netwroking adapter for my 360?

After that I would just use it as a range extender.
